Principal's Message

Rajasthan School of Arts is a premier educational institution, devoted and dedicated to worship of art whether it is Painting, Sculpture or Applied Art. Its students’ history is as rich as the history of College itself. The institution was established in 1857 AD by Raja Sawai Ram Singh II of Jaipur Royals as ‘Madrasa-e Hunri’ and with the passage of time this institution was rechristened as ‘Rajasthan School of Art’ by Commissionerate, College Education, Government of Rajasthan in the year 1988. We have came a long way from those early years and emerged as a beacon of artistic excellence. In the current world scenario, visual arts is gaining grounds and every area of life deserves to be aesthetically rich and honored. With all creative liberty the institution ensures that each and every student achieves his goal and mission of life indubitably. I feel privileged and honored to be part of this historical institution with legacy of nearly 170 years. Wishing and welcoming you all, for the forthcoming 2026-2027 session.
