BVA (8 SEMESTER) PROGRAMME ADMISSION PROCEDURE, RULES & REGULATIONS

BVA Admission Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary or equivalent Examination from any place outside Rajasthan and are not resident of Rajasthan should have: At least 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in senior secondary or equivalent examination. 

Candidates who have passed the above examination from any place outside Rajasthan but are residents of Rajasthan OR Candidates who have passed the above examination from any school located in Rajasthan should have: At least 45% marks/equivalent CGPA in senior secondary or equivalent examination. 

Admission will be made as per merit of the Senior Secondary Examination. Preference for specialization subject (viz., Painting, Applied Art and Sculpture) given by the candidate in the application forms shall be strictly followed. After admission, no change of subject will be allowed. 

Merit lists of all the eligible candidates will be prepared subject wise for BVA Part I and will be displayed on the notice board and college website. Candidates are expected to look for these lists regularly. 

Candidates on the merit lists will be called for verification of documents on a notified date and time, where eligible candidates will be required to produce and deposit all the original documents Thereafter, the candidates will be given admission as per his/her choice of department, subject to availability of seats in respective Departments. 

Please note that candidates on the list will be required to deposit the fees. Candidates, not depositing the original documents and the fees within prescribed time, will forfeit his/her chance of admission. (Refer Fees section for further details 


Reservation rules
Reservation of seats/relaxation of marks for S.C., S.T., O.B.C., M.B.C. (except the creamy layer), reservation on economic basis (EWS) and the Physical Disability (PH) will be as follows: 1.Reservation of seats is available as per admission policy/rules 2024-25 (Part 6-point No. 6.1.1 to 6.1.12) issued by the Commissionerate, College Education, Govt. of Rajasthan. 2.Candidates belonging to S.C., S.T., O.B.C. and M.B.C. in the ratio of 16%, 12%, 21% 5% and 10%. (However Eligibility will be minimum 45% marks in Senior Secondary Examination, see Eligibility criteria above). 3.5% of the total number of seats in each Programme will be reserved for PH/Divyang candidates in respective categories, provided that the candidate is capable of doing practical work. Such Candidates claiming relaxation shall be required to furnish a UDID (Unique Disability Identity Card) or PH Certificate in original form issued by the Rehabilitation center/CM & HO or equivalent/ authorized Medical Officer. 4.There is provision of 30% reserved seats (horizontal) for female candidates.

Admission Procedure : 

1.For admission to this course, the candidate should apply only through the form available online. This form can be downloaded from college website (https://hte.rajasthan.gov.in/college/gcrsajaipur). 2.Duly filled application forms should be submitted within the prescribed time period. 3.The applicant must furnish attested copies of the following documents along with the admission form: Mark sheet of Senior Secondary Examination Certificate/ Mark sheet of Secondary Examination Transfer certificate from the institution last attended Character certificate from the institution last attended SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ Reservation on Economic basis/ Physically Hadicapped Certificate (whichever is necessary). 4.Online forms incomplete in any respect will not be accepted. 5.Names of the students admitted to a Programme will be displayed on the Notice Board on the specified date. No individual communication will be entertained in this regard. 6.Students should deposit the fees on the specified date. Admission of the student, who fails to deposit the fees by the specified date, shall stand cancelled and the next candidate on the merit list will be considered. No extension will be granted for depositing the fee. Student getting admission should obtain their identity Card from the College Office. They should always keep it in their possession and produce it whenever asked for. 7.Following cases of students shall not be given admission in any case: Any candidate against whom any police FIR has been lodged by the Principal or any other authority. Any candidate who has been convicted of a criminal offence involving moral turpitude. Any candidate who has indulged himself/ herself in misbehavior with any teacher or with any authority/official/ students of the college. 8.After the last date of online submission of application, no form will be accepted. 9. Declaration in the following form shall be made by each student at the time of admission. I declare that : I have not been convicted of any criminal offence nor have I been incarcerated/ released on bail in connection with a criminal case. No case of criminal offence or moral turpitude is pending against me in any court of Law. No complaint or F.I.R. has been lodged against me by the Principal or any other competent Authority. I have not resorted on any act of indiscipline during the previous year, and I know that I am required to have minimum 75% attendance in each subject (theory & practical) to appear for the Examination.
